Then Jesus came to them and said,
“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations,
baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.
And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

~ Matthew 28:18-20

Jesus commissions his people to go into every nation on earth and “make disciples”. Around the world, there are people who are hungry and thirsty for God, desiring forgiveness and yearning for a personal love relationship with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Cannon Beach Community Church is a global minded “Great Commission” congregation, obedient to our Lord’s challenge to make disciples of all nations. We are a mission outpost in God’s kingdom work in this world.

We love commissioning short-term and long-term missionaries to serve around the world, and to encourage people to enter into full-time Christian service. We give away 22 cents of every dollar donated to support mission work, local, national and international. Every week we pray for the Lord’s blessing to send out workers into his abundant harvest fields (Matthew 9:37-38. “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”)
