Breaking from the Past and Moving Toward God’s Future

In this message we reflect upon the lives that we leave behind in order to pursue God’s future together. In Philippians 3:1-11 Paul speaks out against the Judaizers and reminds us that our confidence isn’t found in the flesh, it’s found in the Lord. Paul counts all things as a loss compared to the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus, and we too are called to do the same. May the righteousness of our Lord teach us what it means to live by faith. The presence of His Spirit will empower us to know Christ, to grow in Christ together, and to go with Christ into our community and world.
