Pastor David’s Blog
As you read these weekly blog entries, imagine you’ve come to the beach at sunset to sit on a beach log and let your soul be filled with God’s glory and wonder as we discover together more of the mysteries of life with God.
Pastor David writes, “As John Keats writes in his poem ‘On the Sea’: “O ye! who have your eyeballs vexed and tired, Feast them upon the wideness of the Sea.” During the three decades I’ve lived by the Pacific Ocean, I’ve often walked out to the beach and sat down on a beach log washed up with some previous high tide. At sunset, I’ve watched and waited for the sun to set and the clouds to pick up the last lights of the day, filling the skies with the glory of God. May your soul also be filled with God’s glory and wonder. I currently have two blog series running, including “Hidden Treasures: New Testament Word Studies” and “14 Ways to Grow Deeper in Christ”. Hope you enjoy!”
