On January 7, 2024 Cannon Beach Community Church called a Special Congregational Meeting to announce that Pastor David Robinson will be retiring at the end of 2024, after 30 years of ministry as our Lead Pastor. Pastor David’s retirement announcement letter can be found here.
On January 28, 2024, the Congregation approved a Pastor Transition Plan for 2024-2025 that had been proposed to the Congregation by the Leadership Team.
This is a bittersweet time as our beloved David retires from his Lead Pastor role to serve the Lord in other ways and places. We give our love and thanks to David and Trina, who will be greatly missed. Yet it is also a time of expectation, as the Leadership Team will be announcing the Call of Nathan Daniels to the Lead Pastor position this fall, with the approval of the Congregation.
