The Only Truth

God’s Truth, our truth, exists and reigns in today’s supremely relativistic culture. The Truth exists in our chaotic world just as it did in the time of 2 John, amidst many who distort and weaken The Truth. 2 John shows us that there is no ‘World’ history and ‘God’ history; there is only the one True history. John courageously preached the Truth in the midst of his own chaotic times. In his older age he was truly joyful to know that The Truth was still being lived and taught as it was at the beginning of his discipleship. 2 John tells us this for our edification and joy.
