The book of 1 Peter was written to a people familiar with suffering, so it is no surprise that suffering is a prominent theme throughout the book. This weekend we will delve into 1 Peter 4:12-19, with a challenge to flip the world’s understanding of suffering on its head. Peter tells us not to be surprised by trials that come our way, and instead calls us to allow these hardships to refine our faith and bring glory to God
