CANNON BEACH

Cannon Beach is one of the best-loved coastal towns in the United States. Cannon Beach is frequently listed as one of the top ten favorite beaches in the nation. Home of Haystack Rock, the second tallest intertidal monolith in the world, Cannon Beach is a place of outstanding natural beauty, with mountains, forests, rocky headlands, tidepools and miles of wide beautiful beaches. The village of Cannon Beach has a Pacific Northwest charm, with cedar-shingled buildings, an abundance of flowers, and two dozen art galleries. The year round population of 1700 people, includes an active and creative community who love volunteering their time to help others and welcome people who come to visit this town. Cannon Beach offers concerts in the park, a summer farmer’s market, Haystack Rock Awareness Program, a History Center, the award-winning Coaster Theatre, as well as several community arts groups including the Cannon Beach Chorus, the North Coast Symphonic Orchestra, and the Cannon Beach Arts Association.

Cannon Beach area is home to three local churches, including:

  • Cannon Beach Community Church, founded in 1930, affiliated with the Presbyterian Church USA for 82 years until 2012, when we became affiliated with the Evangelical Covenant Church (see http://www.covchurch.org/);
